AERO-7 wheel sneak preview

This new wheel design is exclusive to the BMW 1 series. The AERO-7 will be available in both 18" and 19" sizes and staggered fitments. All APEX wheels are flow-formed resulting in a light weight track and street worthy wheel. The 19x8" test wheel which has already passed stress testings, weights 21.0lbs, and is certified for a 1580lbs load rating (717KGS).
Available widths and offsets for the wheels are not 100% finalized yet. There are 4 widths being looked at for the 19's, but only 2 will be produced. We should be receiving our 18" sample soon, with photos to follow. Here is the currently available fitment information.

Expect to See these wheels by February. All molds are complete. Final details are being worked out and then production is beginning. Wheels should be available in 4 finishes.

ARC-8 wheels tested on E90 M3

The E90 M3 can take either a staggered 9.5/10" setup or 10" all around. without spacers. 9.5" can be used in the rear with a 15mm spacer

ARC-8 wheels tested on E46 M3

We've tested the ARC-8 wheels on an E46 M3 running a TCK coilover kit, negative front camber and a full Brembo monoblock BBK.

This car had a very large BBK which changes wheel fitment over stock M3's.

Front wheels tested on 1 series

We've tested both the 8.5" and 9" wheel on the front. Tire sizes weren't optimal for testing, but they gave us useful information. 235/40/18 NT-05 was used on the 8.5" wheel and 245/40/18 was used on the 9" wheel. Both of these sizes are significantly taller then stock.

245/35/18 is the recommended front tire size if camber plates are installed. Without plates 225/40/18 is recommended.

1 series wheels tested

the 18x9.5" et62 wheels have been tested on a 1 stock 1 series with both 265/35/18 street tires and a 275/35/18 r-compound. Both tires courtesy of Nitto Tires, who supplied us with their NT-01 and NT-05 compounds.

We now have an Anthracite sample of the 18x9.5" et62 wheel in hand. along with a Satin Black 18x9" et42 wheel

We are producing the APEX ARC-8 wheel in 5 new fitments, including wheels with deep concave faces.

The first sample we are receiving this week is the 18x9.5" rear wheel for the 1 series (et62). This sample is in the anthracite finish. Here's a photo taken by the factory before boxing it and shipping it out to us.

The rest of the samples should be arriving over the course of a week.

Our container of 17x8" 4 lug wheels and additional 17x9" wheels was set to arrive in port today. The ship is late, so wheels will be arriving in our warehouse and shipping out this Friday
